Valencia CF Women’s first team and Academy enjoy a family celebration of the 4 promotions
Historic milestone at the Club, with the A team to Liga F; the B team to 2ª RFEF; the C team to 3ª RFEF; and the D team to Autonòmica Valenta
VCFF had a slow start to the game with a home side who exerted huge pressure on VCFF all over the pitch but VCFF held firm as the contest evened out. The first VCFF chance fell to A. Torrodà but a Sporting Club diverted it behind for a corner kick.
VCFF had a link-up play between Jansen and Bonsegundo straight at the Sporting Club Huelva goalkeeper Chelsea halfway through the first half and only a minute later, Enith was called into action to gobble up a Dany attempt. And on 27 minutes, the keeper was very alert to prevent the home side going ahead from a direct corner kick.
Jansen could not quite make contact with the ball following a dangerous Aguado cross into the box on 38 minutes. Just as it appeared the opening half would end goalless. Dany made it 1-0 deep into stoppage time.
The opening quarter of an hour of the second half saw little in the way of danger with chances few and far between. José Bargués introduced Salmi and Bautista for Sandra and Aguado.
B. Beltrán restrored parity over the hour mark when Bea Beltrán unleashed a poweful drive outside the area into the top corner past Chelsea as momentum swung in VCFF’s favour who did not settle for a draw.
VCFF kept on pushing for the winner which came about in the dying minutes in the manner of a spot-kick following a bad foul on Asun which was converted by C. Bautista on 89 minutes.
The match ended in a 1-2 win for VCFF win away at Sporting Club Huelva at a tough ground to play at. Jose Bargués’side Primera Iberdrola campaign is off and running in a gutsy manner.
